LaunchPM recently attended the ribbon cutting celebrating the opening of Vital Care Infusion Services of Scottsdale. It is the first franchise location to open in Arizona and LaunchPM was proud to serve as the project management team overseeing the buildout. The facility boasts 3,202 rentable square feet and is located just off Loop 101, north of Shea Blvd. The infusion services pharmacy officially opened its doors in January 2024.
About Vital Care Infusion Services
Vital Care Infusion Services, headquartered in Brentwood, Tennessee, is expanding access to high-quality infusion therapy services throughout the United States. Almost 40 years ago, Johnny Bell began offering infusion therapy services in patients’ homes and at alternate infusion sites throughout his community. After seeing the dramatic change in patients’ quality of life, Bell was inspired to found Vital Care, a network of locally owned and operated infusion pharmacy franchises. Today, there are more than 110 Vital Care Infusion centers across the country.
All Vital Care Infusion pharmacies are locally owned and operated by individuals rooted in the communities they serve. Patients can receive infusion services from an experienced nurse in one of the facilities’ comfortable, private suites, or they can receive treatment in the comfort of their own homes thanks to the available mobile units.
The project
LaunchPM was hired to provide project management of the buildout of this first facility in Arizona located
within Edwards Professional Park near Shea Blvd and the 101. The space was significantly modified to meet the safety and healthcare standards necessary for Infusion Services of Scottsdale to operate. Construction included the buildout of four private infusion suites for patients to receive treatments, a state-of-the-art cleanroom and anteroom, a shipping/receiving room, a nurse’s station, a supply room for storing equipment and medications, one executive office and a breakroom for employees to relax and regroup. The project began in May 2023. Working closely with the client, landlord and vendors, LaunchPM was able to manage details and timelines to complete the construction of the infusion facility by August 2023.
