PepsiCo Inc. operates a warehouse with an adjoining office building located at 40th Street and Van Buren in Phoenix. The existing 10,756-square-foot facility needed an update of its offices to give employees a space to work that better fit their needs. The space was outdated and largely in need of an update. LaunchPM was brought in to manage the project from planning to completion.
LaunchPM assembled the team, working with Chasse Building Team as the general contractor and the architecture firm of Ware Malcomb, to take an existing outdated office space that felt small and dark and opening it up to create a modern office environment. The new space includes new conference rooms for meetings and smaller huddle rooms for smaller groups and gatherings. Original exterior signage was moved to display on an interior wall as a nod to the company’s history in the space. In lieu of artwork, special vinyl displays featuring company products adorn office and hallway walls showcasing the company’s many brands. In addition to the redesign of the office interiors, the exterior landscape and signage was also given a refresh. The project was completed in two phases that took a total of nine months.
While PepsiCo is a global company with its headquarters in New York, the company has multiple production, warehousing and distribution locations operating in Greater Phoenix. In addition to its well-known PepsiCo beverages, the company owns and distributes products under the brands Frito-Lay and Quaker.
